Collection: Little Eats // 小食

The Little Eats // 小食 (siu sik) Collection features distinctive pieces inspired by Hong Kong snacks, reimagined as wearable art jewellery.

The range draws inspiration from Catton's hometown of Hong Kong, capturing the playful, homey essence of street food culture and transforming it into a chic, high-end statement.

Egg Tart // 蛋撻

Egg tarts are a popular sweet treat served at dim sum restaurants, bakeries, and even some local diners. Two styles are eaten—a flaky, puff pastry, or a shortcrust shell—both filled with a smooth egg custard. The Egg Tart design recreates the beautiful, flaky crust with three delicate layers of hammered and crimped sterling silver. It is then filled with a glossy yellow cold enamel, and finished with a premium gold vermeil to create the perfect golden tart.

GDZ // 雞蛋仔

Gai Dan Zai—also known as an egg waffle or bubble waffle—is one of Hong Kong’s most well known street snacks. The crispy on the outside, soft on the inside sweet treat continues to grow in popularity abroad, with new variations on the classic being developed in recent years (think: instagram-trendy ice cream waffles). Our design stays true to the original concept: referencing its signature hexagonal shape; smooth, oval bubbles, geometrically aligned on the surface; and a gently curved profile.

Curry Fishball // 咖哩魚蛋

Curry fishballs are one of Hong Kong's favourite street eats, beloved by younger and older generations alike. Hot, spicy fishballs are slathered in a delicious curry sauce and skewered to enjoy on the go. Catton captures the unpretentiously wonky, imperfectly round shape of the fishballs by meticulously carving each one in wax. They are then cast in sterling silver, thread and soldered onto a hand-carved silver skewer. Lastly, an 18ct gold vermeil forms the golden curry sauce over the fishballs.
