The traditional way to enjoy a Gai Dan Zai is straight from the paper bag, ripping off chunks of the hot, fresh waffle. The GDZ Pieces Choker transforms and documents the experience of eating the Hong Kong egg waffle, arranging the “ripped” pieces into a striking statement choker. It also features two large citrine cabochons, bezel set on either side of the central three GDZ pieces, referencing the individual “eggettes” of the waffle. The necklace is completed with a hand-formed S clasp, then mirror-polished and plated with 18ct yellow gold. This choker is truly one-of-a-kind.
